Army & Navy begin roasting each other on social media ahead of rivalry game
November 29, 2022The annual Army vs Navy football game is upon us, and the smack talk has officially begun. The verified Army and Navy social media accounts have started “taking shots across the bow” at each other in hilarious fashion.

The two branches have taken turns posting and clapping back ahead of the historic game. Even those in the comments are not safe, if they leave a snarky remark.
The branches even took pot shots at each other’s uniforms over the last few years. This year, the Navy has released a NASA themed uniform. This being in part to honor Alan Shepard, a graduate of the Naval Academy. Shepard was the first American in space, and the first of many service members to do so.
Notably, both branches currently have members aboard the International Space Station. Those being U.S. Army Astronaut Lt. Col. Frank Rubio, M.D. and U.S. Navy Astronaut Captain Josh A. Cassada, PH.D.
The 123rd Army Navy Game is scheduled to be held on December 10th at 3 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Navy currently leads the rivalry 62–53–7.
